Grading Vacancies
In a busy market with lots of vacancies itâs easy to get bogged down and lost in the abyss. But looking at the wider picture is vital if you want to be a Limitless Recruiter. If youâre going to spend some of your valuable time on a vacancy, it needs to be worth it â you need to know youâve got the best chance of making a success of it.
Many recruiters struggle to prioritise which vacancies to work on. Some lean towards clients they like, others to whichever positions are the most interesting, different or popular â or simply the ones they feel most comfortable with. Many recruiters just work on the most recent vacancy they have picked up, perhaps from a new client. The problem with this approach is that itâs not necessarily the most efficient, and certainly not a method that will get you performing at your peak.
The most efficient way of managing your vacancies is to grade them. Firstly, take a step back and ask yourself these key questions about your vacancy list:
